Agree the scope around the decision you need to make. The starting materials and outputs below provide a basis for that conversation.
Potential pathways include avoided deforestation, improved forest management and restoration, with peatland or mangrove work considered where the landscape and applicable methodology support it. A pathway is selected through assessment, not from the land area alone.
Explore the initial screening toolBeyond the starting point
Review the potential standard and methodology, organise project-design documentation, and coordinate with qualified technical specialists and independent validation and verification bodies. Their assessment and registry decisions remain separate from our coordination role.
Agree the ongoing monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) coordination, project updates, safeguards, stakeholder records and buyer reporting needed for the asset. Scope, frequency and responsibilities are set for the engagement.
